Specifically designed for use with our Nostalgie Teak laminate flooring, this exquisite edging product will provide a seamless transition between your floor and your skirting board. Edging (also known as scotia) covers up the 12mm gap that must be left around the edge of a wood or laminate floor to allow for the natural expansion of the wood; it also prevents the build-up of dust, dirt, and debris in this gap.
If you are installing Floormaker Nostalgie Teak flooring in your home, this matching scotia is utterly essential. It will help you to achieve a neat, professional finish with no hassle at all; simply cut each 2.4 metre length of edging to fit the sides of your room, and nail the scotia to your skirting board. Do not nail your edging to the floorboards themselves, as this will stop them from expanding and may cause warping.
